Soft-IVF® Fee

The cost of one cycle of Soft-IVF at Bay IVF Center is $6,570;  our Three Cycle with Money-Back Guarantee Plan is $19,710. This represents only the laboratory portion of your treatment cost, as we do not bill for physician care after your initial evaluation ($280).

 

These fees include the cost of all medications, cost of Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI) (as needed), and cost of embryo Assisted Hatching (as needed).

 

The Three Cycle with Money-Back Guarantee Plan fee also covers embryo cryopreservation, storage, thawing, and transfer(s) of cryopreserved embryos (if available).

 

The cost of required nutritional supplements is not included in the Soft-IVF fees (see below).

Please note that you must be 44 years or younger at the time your one cycle IVF treatment begins and 40 years or younger at the start of the Three Cycle Money-Back Guarantee Plan.

 

We hope that the Soft-IVF treatment fee at Bay IVF Center will maximize the affordability of In Vitro Fertilization and the probability of your successful outcome.

 

Some or all of the Soft-IVF cost may be covered by your insurance. As a courtesy, if you have insurance coverage for reproductive treatments, we will assist you with your insurance claims.

 

Most patients can increase their cumulative pregnancy probability by having more than one cycle of treatment. A treatment cycle represents completion of ovarian stimulation, egg retrieval and embryo transfer.

 

The following graph illustrates the increase in successful outcome probability if you are considering more than one cycle of treatment.

 

 

In this example, we used an arbitrary 25% successful outcome probability per Soft-IVF treatment cycle. Your actual odds of pregnancy could be higher or lower. Frozen embryo transfers (provided extra embryos are available for cryopreservation) could further increase your probability of success.

 

The total Soft-IVF treatment cost consists of the following three components:

 

• Cost of prerequisites
• Cost of nutritional supplements
• Treatment fee

 

Cost of Prerequisites

 

Bay IVF Center requires very few prerequisites. You could complete them within a short period of time and be ready to start your treatment cycle as soon as possible. If some of the prerequisites have already been done, they may not need to be repeated.

Genetic Testing (Optional)

 

All future parents should consider genetic screening (video) for over 100 most common genetic diseases. Please let us know at the time of your initial appointment at Bay IVF Center if you wish to have your blood sample sent for genetic screening. The cost of this testing is $350 per person.

 

Cost of Medications

 

You will receive all medications from us free of charge.

 

Cost of Nutritional Supplements

 

Both partners (if applicable) are required to take Omega-3 and multivitamin supplements as a part of your treatment. The cost of the supplements is not covered in the Soft-IVF fee. You can purchase the supplements from us, at our cost, for $20 per bottle of Omega-3 capsules and $15 per bottle of multivitamins, or you can order them online.

 

Treatment Fee - One Cycle - $6,570

 

Services covered in the one cycle fee:

 

• All required medications
• Preparation of semen sample(s)
• Oocyte identification, embryo culture, including possible extended culture to blastocyst, and embryo transfer
• Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI): You will be scheduled for partial or full ICSI if any of the following applies:

   

  1. The male partner has never caused a pregnancy or only with the help of ICSI.

      

  2. In your prerequisite Semen Analysis or in the semen collected the day of your egg retrieval, the total number of motile sperm in the whole ejaculate is less than 5 million.

      

  3. In your prerequisite Semen Analysis or in the semen collected the day of your egg retrieval, the percentage of morphologically normal sperm is less than 5%.

      

  4. Low yield of high quality sperm: After your semen sample has been prepared for egg insemination, the total number of progressively (vigorously) motile sperm in the whole sample is less than 3 million.

      

  5. Less than three mature eggs were retrieved.

      

• Assisted Hatching of embryos: You will be scheduled for the Assisted Hatching procedure if either one of the following applies:

   

  1. History of one or more unsuccessful IVF or Soft-IVF treatments.

      

  2. Follicle Stimulating Hormone (FSH) level of 8.0 or greater in the treatment cycle's Ovarian Reserve Assay.

      

• Serum pregnancy test(s)
• There is no charge for any of your office visits, physician ultrasound examinations, or physician clinical monitoring required for Soft-IVF ovarian stimulation, egg retrieval procedure, analgesia, use of procedure room, physician portion of embryo transfer, and pregnancy ultrasound(s).

 

Your Soft-IVF treatment may require supplementary procedures billed in addition to the regular treatment fee of $6,570:

1. Cryopreservation and storage of embryos ($1,210): If you have "extra" embryos left after the embryo transfer, you may decide to cryopreserve and store them for possible future use. This fee includes up to 6 months of embryo storage, after which the continuing embryo storage fee is $425 semi-annually.

    

2. Sperm cryopreservation and storage ($460): If you anticipate any problems providing a semen specimen on the day of your egg retrieval, please ask us to freeze your preliminary semen specimen as a back-up. This fee includes up to 3 months of sperm storage. Using frozen semen for treatment will require semen specimen thawing ($200).

 

Treatment Fee - Three Cycle Money-Back Guarantee Plan - $19,710

 

The Three Cycle Money-Back Guarantee Plan provides up to three Soft-IVF treatment cycles within a period of 24 months, Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection-ICSI (as needed), Assisted Hatching of embryos (as needed), embryo cryopreservation, storage, thawing, and transfer(s) of cryopreserved embryos (if available).

 

Services covered in the Three Cycle Money-Back Guarantee Plan:

 

First Soft-IVF Cycle:

 

• Same as in Treatment Fee - One Cycle
  Plus 
• Cryopreservation procedure(s) of extra, non-transferred embryos (as needed)
• Storage, thawing, culture, and transfer of any cryopreserved embryos (as many times as needed)
• Assisted Hatching of any cryopreserved embryo
• Preparation of endometrial lining to receive thawed embryos (as many times as needed)

 

Second Soft-IVF Cycle:

 

Once all fresh and frozen embryos from the first Soft-IVF cycle have been transferred, and if this treatment did not result in a successful pregnancy, you will receive a second cycle of Soft-IVF with the same services as outlined in the first cycle of the Three Cycle Money-Back Guarantee Plan.

 

Third Soft-IVF Cycle:

 

Once all fresh and frozen embryos from the second Soft-IVF cycle have been transferred, and if this treatment did not result in a successful pregnancy, you will receive a third cycle of Soft-IVF with the same services as outlined in the first cycle of the Three Cycle Money-Back Guarantee Plan.

 

Refund amount:

 

If you have had all three cycles of your Plan, and all fresh and frozen embryo transfers have been completed within the Plan's duration, and the treatment did not result in a successful outcome, you will receive a refund according to your age at the beginning of your first cycle of treatment:
