If you have been apprehensive about seeking help with your infertility, we are the clinic for you! We provide a very supportive, relaxing, and caring environment in a highly successful non-hospital setting. Your appointments with us should feel like visiting a friend instead of a medical facility.

In preparation for your appointment, one of our IVF coordinators will ask you a series of questions related to your reproductive history. To learn more about the questions you may be asked, please visit the Initial Appointment Phone Interview page.

The Bay IVF team is very efficient, and once you have had your initial consultation, your treatment can begin as early as your next menstrual period.

You will be cared for by Dr. Polansky, an infertility specialist board certified in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. He has been serving the family-building community since he co-founded Stanford University’s IVF Clinic in 1985. Dr. Polansky provides compassionate, educational, and honest consultation throughout your fertility treatment.

Once your appointment has been scheduled, Dr. Polansky will review all your available information and send you a confirmation email.

Your visit at Bay IVF will focus on a review of causes for your infertility, a pelvic ultrasound, and a possible semen evaluation.

At the completion of your visit, you will receive a document showing your current personal probability of a successful outcome (live birth) for the recommended treatment(s).

Optionally, to minimize your cost and the number of visits to Bay IVF, a uterine measurement and a saline ultrasound of the uterus (treatment prerequisites) can be added to your appointment.
