Before Your Visit at Bay IVF

We look forward to meeting you at Bay IVF. Please review the following information to make your visit as informative as possible.

• Both partners (if applicable) are strongly encouraged to be present at your initial visit.

• Air purity is a crucial factor in the success of an Embryology Laboratory. Due to ongoing treatment cycles at Bay IVF, we ask that all patients and their partners refrain from wearing perfume/cologne, body powder, or scented body lotions when coming to the clinic.

• In consideration of our other patients, we respectfully request that you refrain from bringing children with you for your initial appointment and subsequent visits to the clinic.

• One of the treatment prerequisites is a semen assessment unless you are using frozen semen from a sperm bank. The male partner should ideally collect a semen specimen prior to your initial visit so that the result is available at the appointment. Alternatively, semen can be collected at the time of your initial consultation. If you prefer, the semen sample can also be collected at home and brought in. Please review the Treatment Prerequisites for semen collection instructions.
